Battlegrounds

So I did my first battleground today in like forever. It was so sick. I've never done one before with a hunter. They really take over the battleground. In about 15 mins I had 40 honour. I decided to do Warsong Gulch because I think it's the easiest to do and I just wanted to test her out. The battleground only lasted about a half hour, Alliance won *cries* but I found it to be successful. I came out with 60 honour and 8 kills.

Scarlet Monastery

Last night I finally got to go to a dungeon! Scarlet Monastery in Tirisfal Glades (we did the Library). It was pretty cool because I'm about 10 levels lower than the people who invited me. At first I kept messing up because I haven't been to a dungeon in a long time, and I kept aggroing the mobs. They were about 5-6 levels higher than me and elite. Another mistake I made was I forgot to bring food for my pet lol which was kind of a stupid mistake but I was excited. Sadly I didn't get to finish the dungeon because they decided to start it at 11 at night, I have school the next day so it didn't really work well. Half an hour after we started one of our guys left leaving just 3 of us. After we wiped about 3 times than I had to go to bed. It wasn't one of my most successful runs but exciting needless to say because I haven't done an instance in a long time =).

Talents

The spec I have right now is beast master. Right now that's just for solo leveling, it works really quite well, though the hunter is the most over powered class when it comes to leveling te he he. So far I have aspect of the hawk, endurance training, focused fire, thick hide, and aspect mastery maxed out. I have unleashed fury at 2 out of 5. When I get higher in level though I'm switching over to Marksmanship =).

Engineering/Mining

My engineering and mining are now up to 80! =) I chose engineering because I find that a lot of people don't chose engineering and I want the gadgets. I think I'm leveling my skills fairly quickly but it's taking a toll on my gold. In 3 levels I'll be 30 so I really have to try and save up for my mount. I could always ask one of my friends, but I hated when people did that to me when I had my warrior. Maybe I'll just get a group together and go for an BFD run. Yea, haven't been to a dungeon in a long time should be fun.

Leveling

I didn't realize how much traveling you have to do to get to level 30. When I had my warrior I never leveled by myself, I was always being run through dungeons by other people or working with more than one person on quests. Soloing quests I found requires a lot of traveling. I found that the best spot to get from level 20 to 25 is a combination of the Barrens, Tarren Mill, Ashenvale and Stonetalon Mountains. After I finished my quests in Ghostlands, I went to the Barrens, took the harpies quest, Lost in Battle and Consumed with Hatred. When I got to Camp Taurajo I took Tribes at war, Melor Sends Word, Weapons of Choice, and Betrayal from within. After I finished those, I headed to Ashenvale that was my mistake, I should've went to Ratchet, which I forgot to do and I should've went to Stonetalon Mountains first. *sighs* Ah well, still leveling quickly but would've went faster if I had of gone there first.

Weekend

Despite being out all weekend I managed to get my hunter up from level 23 to 26. It was fairly complicated considering that I was all over the map. Started off at the Barrens, that took way too long so I went to Tarren Mill. Tarren Mill worked til about level 25 then I ended up leaving because I couldn't do Battle of Hillsbrad where you kill Magistrate Burnside. So I went to Ashenvale, and that's where I hit level 25 and 26. I'd say the weekend was successful =)
